Global Automotive Forum

Since its inception, JFP Holdings has been an organizer of the Global Auto Forum (“GAF”), which has become the leading auto conference in China. The GAF was founded in 2010 by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Automotive Committee, the same group that organizes all of the auto shows in China, including the Beijing and Shanghai Auto Shows, which every year draw millions of visitors.

The goal of the GAF is to discuss the structural changes and the challenges faced by the global auto industry, offering unique insights into the technological, economic, societal and trade developments impacting the industry, and promoting productive and outcome-oriented exchanges of views among global entrepreneurs, policy makers, industry experts and the press. The GAF is an annual conference, which is held in an important auto city in China. GAF 2010 through 2012 were held in Chengdu, while GAF 2013 and 2014 were held in Wuhan. In 2015 and 2016, the venue moved to Chongqing.

Every year, the GAF draws approximately 1,000 participants that includes government officials, industry leaders from both Chinese and international auto assemblers and their suppliers, representatives from important supporting organizations such as law and accounting firms, investment and commercial banks and industry consultants, as well as members of the Chinese and international media.

GAF has grown into a diverse platform for auto industry exchanges that is a must for anyone interested in China’s auto industry. The GAF provides participants with the opportunity to network, learn about new policies and rules governing China’s auto industry, identify business opportunities and gain access to local companies and development zones.

From the beginning, the GAF has enjoyed the sponsorship of leading automotive and financial companies, including Bank Of America Merill Lynch, Bosch, Continental, Deloitte and Lear Corporation. Additonal sponsors are welcome.
